About

A native of North Carolina with over ten years of experience in high-end creative portrait and commercial photography, Tripp's work has ranged from national media campaigns to photographing some of North Carolina's most prominent families.
Tripp discovered his love for photography while earning his business degree at Wake Forest University. Upon graduation from Wake Forest, Tripp was accepted into the world-renowned photography program at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York. Following graduation from RIT, Tripp returned to the Triad area, joining a premier digital imaging firm where he worked closely with numerous high-fashion clients creating images for global ad campaigns.
Building on his creative background and a love of working with individuals and families, Tripp opened his own studio in 2004. Located in Clemmons, North Carolina, Tripp utilizes the latest in imaging technology to work with both families and commercial clients. He also specializes in virtual paintings and artwork, with his work often featured in Our State magazine. Among his many accomplishments, Tripp earned his certified photographer designation, placing him among the only 3% of photographers in the world who hold this internationally recognized designation.
When not working, Tripp spends his free time mentoring at-risk high-school students, taking walks with his beautiful wife Julie, and trying to keep up with his energetic golden retriever Jack.
